The total, as of writing the post, is up to just over 200 yards of penalties, which is the most so far this season, and the insane total of penalties has NFL fans going insane. It’s not just the fans in attendance who are booing the refs, but also the fans on social media.

One fan claimed that it almost seemed like the refs were trying to make the storylines about them, commenting, “Refs gotta stop making the games about them. Enough with the f***ing flags,” and a very reasonable request at that.

Other fans are claiming that the game is completely in ruins at this point due to the actions of the referees. “What is happening these refs are ruining this game,” went one complaint, and they aren’t wrong at all.

Another fan even questioned the refs’ mindset during the game, asking if they believed that they were the main characters. “Man, do these refs think they are the main characters or sum sh**?” he asked, and if we’re being honest, it’s a legitimate question.
