Angel Reese taunts Middle Tennessee State player by ‘waving goodbye’ after opponent fouled out in March Madness clash… a year after her ring finger gesture to Caitlin Clark in the title game
LSU Tigers star Angel Reese expressed her emotions once again in a close contest against Middle Tennessee State on Sunday.
After going down at the half, LSU was able to claw their way back and ended up winning the game 83-56 to advance to the Sweet 16.
At one point in the game’s third quarter, MTSU’s Anastasiia Boldyreva fouled out of the contest after battling Reese all night.
Reese, who had been knocked onto the ground, was seen waving goodbye in the direction of her now-benched MTSU counterpart.
The star then waved her hands into the air to pump up the crowd at the Pete Maravich Athletics Center in Baton Rouge.

Boldyreva was nearly in tears after the call was made, with cameras capturing her storming off in anger.
Reese later addressed the attention her wave was receiving in a social media post.
“clickbait everything i do keep going viral,” Reese wrote on Twitter Sunday night.
That wave comes nearly a year after Reese was seen pointing at her ring finger and celebrating in front of Iowa star Caitlin Clark in last year’s national championship game.
But these days, LSU has had a tougher road back to the NCAA Tournament – entering as a three-seed this year.
