Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ former assistant Suzi Siegel has said she was not shocked after seeing newly surfaced footage of the rapper violently assaulting his ex Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura.

‘There was not one cell in my body that was surprised,’ Suzi Siegel admitted after the emergence of the harrowing video depicting the 54-year-old rapper attacking his ex-girlfriend in a hallway at Los Angeles‘ InterContinental hotel in 2016.

She added she also wasn’t surprised by Ventura’s November since-settled lawsuit – which included reference to the altercation – against Combs although Siegel said she ‘never’ personally witnessed him abusing the ‘Me & You’ singer, 37, when she was working for him.

During her brief time as his assistant, Siegel — who worked for Diddy from 2008 to 2009 — noted that she ‘observed nothing that would lead me to believe’ he was abusive but said she believed he was ‘capable’ of such horrific behavior.

She told CNN on Friday that she ‘never saw him speak harshly to her or be abusive toward her or anything like that’ but added that she felt ‘sick and violently angry’ now by the recent developments.

And while Siegel was not surprised, the embattled rapper himself is ‘stunned’ the video emerged while Ventura was ‘triggered’ seeing it again, a source previously told the DailyMail.com.

As Combs’ assistant, Siegel said she was around the couple ‘a lot’.

She explained that she had started working for Combs just shortly after he started dating Ventura in 2007.

However, during the time she was employed by him, she said she did not experience any mistreatment herself nor did she witness him abusing his then-girlfriend.

‘I rode in limos with them, I went to parties with them,’ she recalled.

‘I guess what I would say is, even though I never saw anything that could corroborate what’s in that lawsuit and what we just saw, there was not one cell in my body that was surprised,’ she continued.

‘I would say that I was around him a lot and I got a feeling for who he was,’ she said before noting that she ‘didn’t see anything that could get him in trouble.’

‘I didn’t see that proof,’ she admitted. ‘Obviously, I saw it with the rest of America today.’

Siegel said that she believes there was a power imbalance in Combs relationship with Ventura, and he took advantage of that.

‘But I think that [there’s a] power dynamic in a situation like that — especially her, at the beginning of her career, so young and beautiful and talented,’ she continued.

Amid the outrage the video sparked, the previously mentioned insider also exclusively told the DailyMail.com that Diddy ‘is terrified other damaging videos will emerge after he was filmed beating up his ex in a hotel hallway and is holding crisis talks with lawyers as his career implodes.’

The footage backs up former allegations Ventura had previously made in an explosive lawsuit she filed last November — which the exes ended up settling shortly thereafter.

The shocking and disturbing footage — over which the Los Angeles District Attorney cannot prosecute Combs due to the statute of limitations — also emerged amid a sex trafficking probe and multiple misconduct lawsuits against Combs.
