Despite only starting on the daytime show in March as permanent hosts, Cat, 47, and Ben, 49, will be taking a break during the Easter Holidays.
Former regular hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield would always take the school holidays off, as other presents stood in during their absence.
This time, Alison Hammond, 49, and Dermot O’Leary, 50, are taking over the show for five days a week until the middle of the month.
An ITV spokesperson said: ‘Alison and Dermot will front This Morning during this time until Ben and Cat return on Monday 15th April.’

Despite only starting on the daytime show in March as permanent hosts, Cat, 47, and Ben, 49, will be taking a break during the Easter Holidays
Last Thursday, Ben and Cat confirmed they would be absent in the coming weeks as they were going on their ‘holidays’.
Alison and Dermot took over the show on Monday which got kicked off to a very chaotic start.
Viewers slammed Alison’s ‘dreadful’ acting skills after Dermot played an April Fool’s prank on her.
Alison introduced a guest who claimed to have found out a vase she’s bought for just £1.50 was found to be worth £30,000 on Antiques Roadshow.
Guest Joanne appeared on the show with her vase, which she said she came across at a car-boot sale. The vase was precariously positioned atop a thin pedestal.
Dermot and Alison then interviewed an antiques expert about why the vase was worth so much, at which point he said it was one of just two in the whole world. ‘This has set the art world on fire,’ the expert claimed.
However moments later, Dermot knocked the thin pedestal over – sending the vase crashing to the ground and smashing into pieces.
Alison let out a shriek and Joanne cupped her face in her hands, looking completely distraught.
‘Oh my god,’ Alison said as she walked over to a very-distressed Joanne. ‘Are you actually joking?’

Appearing stunned over what he had done, Dermot said: ‘No I’m so sorry I’ll pay for it. I’ve only got one thing to say…’
He then trailed off before yelling ‘April Fools!’ and pointing at Alison, as the TV Screens lit up with the words sprawled everywhere. ‘Welcome back Alison,’ Dermot said.
Alison’s jaw dropped as she realised both Dermot and Joanne had been involved and that she had been the subject of the prank. ‘That is so not funny,’ she said.
‘All weekend I’ve been going well if I turn around like that,’ Dermot said, before pointing to Joanne and saying: ‘You are sensational by the way.’
Alison said: ‘Do you know what I actually felt sick. I was going to start crying. I didn’t know what to even say. That’s so not funny. Is this not real?’
‘No she’s an actress,’ Dermot said, pointing to Joanne, before confirming that her real name was in fact Vanessa.
‘I’m Vanessa and I’m going to take a bit as a souvenir,’ Vanessa joked, picking up a piece of the vase. ‘It’s very valuable.’
But viewers of the show were not convinced by Alison’s reaction at being pranked and claimed she had known it was going to happen.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, viewers said: ‘Alison we aren’t dim, we know you knew..you’re no actress that’s for sure;’
‘Alison, your acting doesn’t fool anyone. If you really didn’t know you would’ve let out a few swear words TV or no TV;’ ‘Nobody bought it Alison! Time to move on!!! The acting is dreadful;’

They said: ‘Either Alison really didn’t know, or she’s a good actor I can’t decide. Bit naff though;’ ‘Every single person in the country was invested in that right up until it fell. Nice one;’
‘Oh wow I wasn’t expecting that Love a good #ThisMorning April fools’; ‘Excellent April Fool on #ThisMorning to be fair.’
