Taylor Swift Leaks Text From Her Mom After Final Show in Paris

Taylor Swift always celebrated Mother’s Day with her mother, even when she’s on a record-breaking world tour! A verified account on X (previously Twitter), @SwiffterUpdates, shared a photo of Andrea Swift, 66, standing in a suite to hear her daughter play at La Défense Arena in Paris on Sunday, May 12.

Taylor, 34, did not play “The Best Day,” a song about their mother-daughter bond, because it was not on the 46-song Eras Tour setlist, but she did perform a heartfelt song close to Andrea’s heart: “Marjorie”.

“Marjorie,” which Taylor sings at every show during the Evermore era, is a song about Andrea’s mother, whose vocals appear on the ballad. Andrea joined Taylor’s loved ones for the show, which included her boyfriend Travis Kelce and friends Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.

Taylor performed two songs about Kelce during this show: “So High School” for the first time in front of him during the Tortured Poets Department phase, and “The Alchemy” during the acoustic surprise songs segment, and Andrea Swift made reference to it in a text she sent to Taylor after the show. She a photo that and captioned it “My face when I flew to Paris to be with you for Mother’s Day and both of your surprise songs went to Travis”.

The mother and daughter have a tight bond. Taylor notably penned “The Best Day” from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) about Andrea, while “Soon You’ll Get Better” from 2019’s Lover is about her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

Andrea has attended numerous Eras Tour events and is frequently by her daughter’s side during pivotal times in her career, such as the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour premiere in Los Angeles in October 2023. Taylor’s Eras Tour continues with three shows at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, from May 17 to May 19.
