Is Bronny James’ USC Comeback Still in Question? Coach Andy Enfield Clarifies What Could Go Wrong for ‘Young LeBron’=

Bronny James’ court comeback remains a matter of suspense.

Four months after facing a critical health setback, college basketball enthusiasts are buzzing with the rumors of him finally making a comeback.

The head coach of the USC Trojans, Andy Enfield provided some insights on the situation after Bronny’s first full-contact practice.

LeBron James’ son has been spotted practicing with his team several times, but he would only shoot or pass the ball to his teammates in such practices.

But, on Thursday, Bronny participated in his first full-contact practice after suffering from cardiac arrest.

From practice drills to full contact

After the practice session, Coach Enfield addressed the media, in which he was asked if James Jr. would be playing on Sunday.

To which he said, “We assume, today was his first day of contact practice.

He looked good. And he has to get his timing back and get in game shape, but I thought today was a good first day.”

Furthermore, Coach Enfield was asked about conditions or requirements James needs to fulfill before he is allowed to participate in the game on Sunday.

To which he replied, “Well, I think it’ll be a determination, how he feels personally and our doctors and trainers and our strength coach. But all indication is he feels great and he looks good.”

However, further in the conversation Coach Enfield also expressed that James will be playing under minutes restriction for now, as they want to see how it goes, and based on his performance during those minutes, the medical professionals will decide what’s next.

As Sunday’s game against Long Beach State approaches, fans will be eagerly waiting to watch Young Lebron in action as he will be making his college career debut.

Notably, the USC Trojans’ performance in the 2023-24 NCAA season has been exceptional so far without Bronny James.

How have the Trojans performed so far?

The Trojans’ men started the ongoing NCAA season with a flawless victory against the Kansas State Wildcats with a score difference of 13 points.

Their winning streak was put to a stop in their third game of the season as they recorded their first loss against the UC Irvine Anteaters.

But the boys quickly learned from their mistakes and made a comeback against the Brown Bears.

However, so far this season has been a rollercoaster ride for the team, as they have played eight matches till now out of which they have won five and lost three of them.

But, as Bronny is all set to make a comeback soon, their team will be stronger and teams should look out for them as they will not be stopping at anything but victory.
