Dez Bryant wasn’t happy with how the game between the UConn Huskies and the Iowa Hawkeyes ended on Friday night in the final four of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament in Cleveland. The No. 1 seed, Iowa, returned to the championship game after winning 71-69 against the No. 3 seed, Uconn.
It was a close game from start to finish. UConn cut Iowa’s lead to just one point with 39 seconds left on the clock. The Huskies had the ball and the opportunity to go on and win the game. With under 10 seconds remaining, they forced a turnover.
However, the referee called for an offensive foul that gave possession back to the Hawkeyes. Despite leading the game by 12 points at the halfway mark, UConn failed to capitalize in the second, allowing Iowa to take control of the game.

This was the Huskies’ biggest-blown deficit since the early 2000s. At the final whistle, while Caitlin Clark and Co. celebrated the victory, fans on social media who tuned in to watch the game were not happy with the game-altering decision.

Iowa reached the Final Four after a classic game against the LSU Tigers. A game that attracted more than 12.6 million viewers mainly focused on the dual between Clark and LSU’s Angle Reese. It was the revenge match of a game that took place last season, in which the Tigers won 102-85. Yet on this occasion, the Hawkeyes carved a victory, with Clark leading from the front with a scoreline of 94-87.

The former Dallas Cowboys playmaker advised LSU’s Reese to stay in college for another year.
They should stay and enjoy college. I think the world enjoys watching college girls hoops more than the WNBA. Respectfully.Bryant wrote
