OOH LA LA Travis Kelce splurges $736 on macarons & a $11.7k Chanel bag for Taylor Swift in Paris-themed gifts for Europe Eras tour
The Cruel Summer star kicks off the European leg of her blockbuster show this week and is in the French capital for four sell-out nights.
It marks the start of a ridiculously busy few months, and so boyfriend Travis has risen to the occasion once again thanks to a French connection that will keep Taylor smiling.
The U.S Sun has previously revealed how the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl winning superstar showered his girl with everything from her favorite flowers to bespoke leather jackets and bags.
But ahead of an explosive resumption in France, according to a source close to the Kelce’s, Travis has sought a Parisian touch to ease the 13-time Grammy winner back into action in the city of love.
Some stunning white orchids – a favorite of the Anti-Hero sensation – were purchased at a cool $2,050 from one of Paris’ oldest florists, Rene Veyrat which has been in operation since 1936.
“This flourishing garden is composed with various breeds of Phalaenopsis orchids and accessorized with rare boughs and natural moss,” gushes the official description. “Absolutely fabulous.”
A bouquet of 100 somptueux rouge red roses were also snapped up for $1,100, described as the “finest available” in France.
Chanel rectangle sunglasses, priced at $1,840, will shield tired eyes from the Parisian sun and pair nicely with the iconic 2.55 handbag, which cost $11,700 and oozes style and class.
Designed by Gabrielle Chanel in 1955, the classic bag is said to “represent the finest style for young Parisian women.”
“Travis and Taylor both love fashion so he wanted the Chanel gifts to offer a classy Parisian touch,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
Most importantly, however, Taylor’s sweet tooth is also catered for.
Travis manfully tracked down the finest macarons in Paris at the famed Maison Pierre Hermé, which is renowned for having some of the finest pastry chefs in France.
“Hermé really is the master of balance and seems to always be able to meld the nuances of various flavors and aromas into his pastries, while providing a curious hint of surprise, and his macarons are perfect examples of that,” wrote author and Paris based pastry chef David Lebovitz.
TASTY TREATS
“The European part of the tour is going to be intense, long and a fantastic experience, and Travis wanted to display a distinctly French touch,” added the insider.
“Of course, roses in the city of love are a lovely touch and orchids are one of her favorite flowers. But Taylor loves sweet treats too so the macarons are sure to be enjoyed.”
The U.S. Sun has previously revealed how kind-hearted Travis showered Taylor with a thoughtful 11 flower deliveries to signal the release of her 11th album – The Tortured Poets Department – last month.
We also reported on some lavish Valentine’s gifts, which included $2,100 spent on 250 Eternity roses and a $3,100 rose sculpture. Another $8,00 was spent on jewelry and more floral surprises to celebrate the 34-year-old winning a fourth album of the year award at the Grammys.
