Travis Kelce Reflects on First Meeting with Taylor Swift: “she will probably hate me for saying this, but…. when Tay came to Arrowhead stadium they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room and her little cousins were taking pictures in front of my locker” “I knew then instantly that she’s the one”
Travis Kelce, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared an endearing anecdote about his first encounter with his now-fiancée, Taylor Swift.
In a candid reflection, Kelce recounted the moment when Swift visited Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs, and was given the large locker room as her dressing room.
Kelce humorously remarked, “She will probably hate me for saying this, but when Tay came to Arrowhead stadium they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures in front of my locker.”
Despite the playful nature of the situation, Kelce revealed that it was during this moment that he knew Swift was someone special. The genuine warmth and fondness in his recollection suggest a deep connection between the couple.
Kelce’s revelation offers fans a glimpse into the early stages of his relationship with Swift and underscores the unique circumstances that brought them together. As their romance continues to blossom, fans eagerly anticipate more heartwarming moments from this dynamic duo.
Travis Kelce’s mom Donna wants to find out which Taylor Swift songs on The Tortured Poets Department are about her son: ‘I’ll have to ask her’
Travis Kelce‘s mom Donna Kelce is curious to find out which songs on his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift‘s new album were inspired by her son.
The 34-year-old NFL athlete’s mom, 71, revealed that she listened to Swift’s, 34, entire new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which dropped last Friday and features 31 songs.
‘I know there’s a few that some people think are about Travis but we’ll just see,’ she told Us Weekly while attending the QVC Women’s Summit in Las Vegas on Wednesday
Donna added that she plans to ask the Down Bad songstress to find out which tracks Travis was the muse for: ‘You know, I’ll have to ask her when I see her.’
The mom of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end — who reportedly has ‘zero’ concern about who the songs are about — also shared that she listened to the album on the ‘day it was released’ and doesn’t ‘really’ have a favorite song.

However she praised Swift’s talent sharing that the album as a whole is ‘her best one!’
Donna and Taylor have seemingly developed a strong bond as they attended a number of Travis’ games together last season and were spotted cheering him on side-by-side on a number of occasions.
After Travis took home his second consecutive Super Bowl win in February, Donna and Swift were seen walking hand in hand to congratulate him.
‘I’m going to do what Donna does,’ Swift was heard telling her security guard as they walked on the field after the game.
Though before the album was released many speculated that it would detail her breakup with longterm boyfriend Joe Alwyn, 33, much of it appears to instead focus on her short-lived romance with The 1975 vocalist Matty Healy, 35.
However, fans noted few songs also seemed to be about her relationship with Kelce.
Among them is the track ‘So High School’, which compares her feelings for her beau to being sixteen again.
‘Truth, dare, spin bottles / You know how to ball, I know Aristotle / Brand new, full throttle / Touch me when your bros play Grand Theft Auto,’ she sings in the second verse, referring the dynamic of athlete and pop star.

In the song Swift also references how Kelce attended her Eras tour and wanted to give her his phone number via a bracelet in hope they would meet, as she sings, ‘You knew what you wanted, and boy, you got her.’
Another track that seems to be dedicated to Kelce is ‘The Alchemy,’ which uses sports metaphors like making ‘touchdowns’ and cutting loser exes ‘from the team.’
She continues, ‘Shirts off, and your friends lift you up over their heads/ Beer sticking to the floor/ Cheers chanted, cause they said/ There was no chance, trying to be/ The greatest in the league/ Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.’
Her track ‘The Albatross’ features a more subtle nod to Kelce, where the singer explores the public stigma he might face for being attached to her, and his decision to go ahead with their relationship despite any warnings.
‘Cautions issued, he stood / Shooting the messengers / They tried to warn him about her,’ she sings.
She also comforts her partner that if he ever happens to find himself in the ire of the public eye she will be there for him: ‘And when that sky rains fire on you/ And you’re persona non grata/ I’ll tell you how I’ve been there too/ And that none of it matters.’
Swift and Kelce have been linked since September 2023, after she was spotted attending a Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer him on.

It comes after insiders have revealed what Travis makes of the emotionally charged lyrics on his girlfriend’s new album and the pointed references to various romantic partners.
While Taylor made several digs at the likes of Matty and Joe, the NFL champ Travis reportedly has ‘zero concern’ for what she may be claiming about her exes, with the sportsman simply ‘proud’ of his girlfriend.
‘Travis has zero concern for what or whom the songs are about,’ an insider told DailyMail.com.
‘He understands this is a major part of what makes her the person and artist she. He supports her 100 per cent and loves everything she is doing.
‘Joe or any of her exes is not of concern to him whatsoever.’
Taylor appears to accuse Joe of cheating and shattering her dreams of marriage and children in songs including So Long, London.
Other tracks seem heavily inspired by her time with Matty, who she was briefly linked to in spring 2023 following her split from Joe.
Their fling ended as fast as it began after Taylor received a backlash from fans over Matty’s ‘bad boy’ image and ‘racist’ impressions on a podcast.
Lyrics refer to a man in a ‘Jehovah’s Witness suit’ – Matty is known for his distinctive black suits – and typewriters, which feature on stage during his live shows.

On Wednesday Healy broke his silence about the record and when asked by a reporter from Entertainment Tonight what he thought of the ‘diss track’ Matty politely replied: ‘I haven’t really listened to that much of it but I’m sure it’s good.’
Matty reportedly didn’t sign a non-disclosure agreement during his brief fling with Swift so is now free to pen his own songs about their romance.
Insiders say The Tortured Poets Department album has given Matty plenty of food for thought as to whether he wants to provide his own insight into their turbulent romance.
‘Matty is currently keeping a low profile working on The 1975’s next album. This time last week he had no idea he was about to become one of the most talked about men on the planet,’ a source told The Sun.
‘He has opted to keep silent, but no NDA has been signed. Like Taylor, he uses his music as a form of release and storytelling, it’s naturally caused him to think about their time together and he’s never been one to hold back when speaking his mind.’
