Dillon Danis Faces Legal Trouble As Court Orders Him To Deposit His Cell Phone In Nina Agdal Case

Dillon Danis Faces Legal Trouble

Dillon Danis and Nina Agdal

Dillon Danis took trash talk to an extreme ahead of his boxing match with Logan Paul. Something fans had never quite witnessed before. While many felt Danis went too far, others found his antics entertaining. However, the Bellator fighter faced legal issues after involving Paul’s fiancée in his promotional tactics leading up to their October 2023 fight.

Dillon Danis took on Logan Paul in a boxing match, where he was defeated after six rounds by disqualification. Following the bout, Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, filed a lawsuit against Danis. Agdal claims that Danis shared revealing photos and derogatory comments about her more than 250 times on social media, damaging her public reputation.

In a recent turn of events, the court ordered Danis to surrender his phone by October 3 and appear for a deposition on October 8. Journalist Damon Martin shared these updates on social media, writing:

“Danis failed to show up to the scheduled conference on Tuesday but looks like he appeared today — the judge ordered him to turn over his cell phone by 5 pm on Oct. 3 with a deposition scheduled on Oct. 8.”

It remains unconfirmed whether Dillon Danis has complied with the court order to turn over his cell phone. Despite facing a lawsuit and receiving backlash, Danis is reportedly planning a return to boxing.

Dillon Danis Aims for a Comeback

Danis squared off against Logan Paul last October in a six-round boxing match, where he was disqualified at the end of the sixth round for attempting a takedown, resulting in a loss. However, this time Danis’s comeback is likely to occur in an MMA cage instead of a boxing ring. Recently, he shared a photo from a training session on social media, captioned with the cryptic message “Fight announcement soon.”

Though this post was made in June, there has been no official fight announcement from Danis to date. It raises the question of whether he is genuinely preparing for a comeback or simply trying to create hype. As such, fans will have to wait longer for an official update.
