(VIDEO) NFL Week 3 Predictions for EVERY GAME!

Week three of the NFL season is here! Some teams are reveling in their success, while others are facing challenges. With that in mind, I’ll be predicting every single week three game and at the end of the video, I’ll be placing $100 on a chance to win $2,000 with my five-player pick ’em. Stay tuned!

First Game: Thursday Night Football – Patriots vs. Jets

The Patriots are traveling to face the New York Jets. I think this is one of the more underrated games this week. The Patriots have surprised many by upsetting the Bengals in week one and narrowly losing in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks in week two. They have been competitive primarily by running the football, as they currently have the third-highest rushing attempts in the NFL. Despite struggling in the passing game with Jacoby Brissett, I believe this team has a chance—albeit a slim one—against the Jets.

The Jets faced a tough challenge in week one against the San Francisco 49ers, last year’s NFC Champions. Things looked better as Aaron Rodgers secured his first victory as a Jet in week two against the Tennessee Titans. However, the Jets’ offense started slow and only scored 17 points due to mistakes from the Titans, including a blocked punt and two turnovers. I think the Jets’ passing game still needs time to gel.

I’m surprised the Jets are favored by six and a half points. The Patriots could be a trap game for many teams this year. However, since this is Aaron Rodgers’ first home game after last year’s injury, I believe they will be tough to beat. I’m picking the Jets to win 23-16 in prime time.

For my yard dogs, I’m taking the lower on Jacoby Brissett’s passing yards. He hasn’t been able to throw effectively, and I don’t think that changes against the Jets. I’m taking the higher on Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who is likely to receive many targets from Aaron Rodgers.

Giants vs. Browns

Next, we have the Giants traveling to face the Cleveland Browns. The Giants were completely overwhelmed by the Minnesota Vikings in week one. In week two, it seemed they might turn things around against the Washington Commanders, but they ended up losing in a rather comical way. They scored three touchdowns but only managed 18 points due to a missed extra point and two failed two-point conversions. To make matters worse, the Commanders won the game by only scoring field goals—no touchdowns at all.

The Browns looked like they might be on a downward spiral after being blown out by the Cowboys in week one, compounded by new allegations against Deshaun Watson. However, the Browns’ defense has kept them competitive, as they managed to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Despite being favored in this game, the Browns still struggle to score points. I trust the Giants’ offense more than the Browns’. Therefore, I’m surprisingly going with the New York Giants to win against the Cleveland Browns, 21-17.

For my yard dogs, I’m taking the higher on Malik Nabers with over 65.5 receiving yards, and for the Browns, I’m taking the higher on Jerome Ford with over 64.5 rushing yards.

Packers vs. Titans

The Green Bay Packers are traveling to face the Tennessee Titans. Titans head coach Brian Callahan seems frustrated with the young quarterback Will Levis, who keeps turning the ball over week after week. It feels like something is bound to change soon, especially with the Titans’ defense playing well.

I thought the Packers were done after Jordan Love got injured, but they managed to win last week against the Indianapolis Colts, thanks to a strong running game from Josh Jacobs, who had 32 carries. If Jordan Love can play, I think the Packers win. If not, they might struggle against a solid Titans defense. I’m picking the Titans for a narrow upset at home, 17-13.

For my yard dogs, I’m taking the higher on Will Levis with over 199 passing yards, and I’ll also take the higher on Josh Jacobs, who will likely get a lot of carries.

Bears vs. Colts

The Chicago Bears are traveling to face the Indianapolis Colts. Last week, Caleb Williams and the Bears struggled against the Texans’ defense, leading to their offensive coordinator appearing nervous while calling plays. The offensive line did Williams no favors, leaving him with little time to throw. Even when he had time, he made some questionable throws, resulting in DJ Moore, the Bears’ number one receiver, showing visible frustration on the sidelines.

On the flip side, the Colts started strong in week one but faltered against the Green Bay Packers. Anthony Richardson had a poor completion percentage and threw three interceptions. This week, the Bears’ defense is likely to present even more challenges for Richardson. This game will likely come down to which young quarterback performs better and which defense capitalizes on mistakes. I’m giving the Colts a narrow victory, 20-13.

For my yard dogs, I’m taking the higher on DJ Moore with over 61.5 receiving yards, and I’m taking the lower on Anthony Richardson with under 181 passing yards.

Texans vs. Vikings

The Houston Texans are traveling to face the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings had a stunning upset against the San Francisco 49ers last week, showcasing a dominant defense. Meanwhile, the Texans have shown regression after a hot start, with their offense struggling in recent games. However, their defense has been performing well.

This matchup will be interesting, particularly with Texans pass rusher Danielle Hunter facing his former team. I believe the Vikings will come out on top in a close game, 27-23.

For my yard dogs, I’m taking the higher on Sam Darnold with over 218.5 passing yards and the higher on Nico Collins from the Texans with over 70.5 receiving yards.

Eagles vs. Saints

The Philadelphia Eagles are traveling to New Orleans to face the Saints. This is my favorite game of the week! Derek Carr and the Saints might just be the best offense in the NFL right now. They had a significant victory against the Dallas Cowboys, showcasing their power.

Alvin Kamara looks phenomenal, having scored four touchdowns last week. The Eagles have struggled against the run, and with Marshon Lattimore expected back soon, the Saints’ defense will only improve. The Eagles’ top wide receiver AJ Brown is likely to miss this game, which is a huge blow for their offense. Despite their past success, the Eagles have struggled this season with turnovers.

I predict the Saints will dominate this game at home, winning 41-24. For my yard dogs, I’m taking the higher on Alvin Kamara with over 67.5 rushing yards and the higher on Jalen Hurts with at least one rushing touchdown.

Chargers vs. Steelers

The LA Chargers are traveling to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chargers are currently on a two-game win streak, although their latest victory was against the struggling Carolina Panthers. The Steelers have been winning low-scoring games, including last week against the Denver Broncos. Both teams have their strengths, but I trust Justin Herbert more than Justin Fields.

I’m picking the Chargers to win a close game, 20-17. For my yard dogs, I’m taking the lower on Justin Herbert with under 204 passing yards and the higher on Najee Harris with over 53.5 rushing yards.

Broncos vs. Buccaneers

Finally, the Denver Broncos are traveling to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has struggled for two consecutive weeks, leading to some concerns about his confidence. The Broncos have not been able to run the football effectively, and they have a tough matchup ahead against the Buccaneers.

Baker Mayfield is playing exceptionally well and is willing to use his legs to make plays. I expect the Buccaneers to take advantage of the Broncos’ struggles and come out on top.
