Stephanie White would be a solid appointment

Should White sign a new deal with the Fever, it would be far from her first rodeo with the side. She played for her home state between 2000 and 2004, before returning as an assistant coach in 2011. She secured promotion to head coach in 2015, guiding Indiana Fever to the WNBA Finals in her first two seasons.

She made the move to Vanderbilt in 2016, spending five seasons as head coach before signing for Connecticut Sun in 2023. She was named the WNBA Coach of the Year the same year, while also picking up a WNBA All-Star Game head coach award in 2023.
