Meghan Markle gives rare insight into Lilibet’s childhood in revealing chat Uncategorized chien2 — May 25, 2024 · 0 Comment Meghan beamed as she told pupils about her daughter LilibetSince Meghan and Prince Harry became parents they have been determined to do things their own way. And this includes shielding their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet aged two, from the public eye – for the most part.Fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t get much insight into what life is like in California for the two young royal children, but every so often Harry or Meghan will let a sweet detail about their kids slip out as they go about their public work. When Meghan and Harry recently travelled to Nigeria to strengthen international ties in the Invictus Games community, they went without their two children, but while they were visiting Meghan revealed a sweet detail about what Lilibet’s childhood is like behind closed doors.Meghan provided the sweet insight during a visit to the Lightway Academy in Abuja, which has been given some funding by the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. The couple chatted with pupils from the Academy’s Kindergarten class, who performed a song and dance for the visiting royals.“Is singing and dancing your favourite class?” Harry asked the children, with Meghan adding: “That’s Lili’s favourite class, maybe it’s all the jumping around.” Later she also revealed that one of Archie’s current interests is construction, after learning about some of the pupil’s interests in electronics. This wasn’t the only insight that Meghan provided about Lilibet while the couple were there. When they were taking part in a conversation about mental health, the Duchess of Sussex said to some of the pupils: “We all have our story. And there’s no shame in any single one of your stories. Even on the hardest days or darkest days, everything is a pillar of your strength by each of you being there. Your teachers see that in you. And we see that in you.“And interestingly, so our daughter, Lili, she’s much, much tinier than you guys. She’s about to turn three. And a few weeks ago she looked at me and she would just see the reflection in my eyes. And she said ‘Mama, I see me in you’. Oh, now she was talking really, literally. But I hung onto those words in a very different way. And I thought, yes, I do see me and you, and you see me and you, but as I look around this room, I see myself in all of you as well.”
