Meghan Markle has been issued a stark warning ahead of husband Prince Harry’s return to the UK next month as speculation mounts over whether the Duchess of Sussex will join him on the trip

Meghan Markle has been warned ahead of husband Prince Harry’s return to the UK next month.

The Duchess of Sussex could be set to stay in the US instead of joining Harry on the trip, but she has been rumoured to be planning to join the Duke for his visit. Now Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has given a stark warning over what would be her first visit to the UK since 2022.

He explained: “If she comes there will be a huge amount of adverse publicity because of the way she has acted for the past four years.” While he added that security “wouldn’t be an issue” should she visit, Richard also claimed that Meghan has the “perfect excuse” not to.

He told The Sun: “The security would be decided on a case by case basis, they would make sure the trip was secure from the point of view of the UK. I think security could be used as an excuse not to come though. Meghan has every right to come but they have been thrown out of Frogmore and for a good reason.

“Spare and the interviews around it were horrible frankly. She has the perfect excuse not to come over because Harry has lost his security case.” It comes after the couple appeared to be working as a “like-minded double act” as they made their latest public appearance.

They were photographed looking comfortable and relaxed as they attended a star-studded event hosted by their charity The Archewell Foundation in partnership with The Bernard and Shirley Kinsey Foundation for Arts and Education. Meghan and Harry appeared in snaps from the event as they engaged with their co-hosts and attentively soaked up the art and atmosphere around them.

The pair put on a united front for the March 21 exhibition held at the Sofi Stadium at Hollywood Park. In fact, one expert claims that they appeared to be in perfect unison for the public appearance as they united for a meaningful cause.

Body language expert Judi James explained how the couple’s actions showed them to be like-minded and sharing their power and status. She said: “Harry and Meghan were clearly in synchronised mode here, with their pics showing them moving together and throwing matching facial expressions like formation dancers in a ballroom contest. The look presents them as a like-minded double act with an even balance of power and status.”

Judi also noted how the couple put on an impressive display of synchronicity while being photographed obtaining the optimal result for the pictures. She added: “Their synchronised hugging is impressive, especially as they both have their heads hung over the shoulders to ensure a matching camera-friendly moment.”
