Soon after Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings in the Western Conference play-in game, Stephen Curry, star player of the Golden State Warriors, said something shocking about his teammates.
During an interview after the game, Curry discussed his future with his teammates Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
"I can never see myself not with those two guys… we've experienced so much together… I know they want to win. I know I want to win."

“I can never see myself not with those two guys. I understand this league changes, and there are so many things that go into it. …
I know they want to win, and I want to win.
That’s all I’m worried about. But we experienced so much together.
At the end of the day, I know they want to win, and I know I want to win, and that’s all I worry about,” Curry said during the interview.
Thompson is going to become a free agent this offseason, which means he might play for a different team for the first time in his NBA career.
On the other hand, Curry and Green still have a few years left on their contracts.
Curry will undoubtedly want to continue playing with Klay
These three players have been teammates since Green was selected in the second round of the NBA Draft in 2012-13.
Although Curry will undoubtedly want to continue playing with Klay, the Warriors are in a tricky situation.
They haven’t been strong contenders for a while, and the management will have to choose between laying the groundwork for a better future and remaining loyal to the players who gave their all
Thompson is currently assessing his options for the offseason, and his future is still uncertain.
Despite the team’s disappointing season, Thompson’s resilience and successful track record make him a valuable asset to any squad.
As the Warriors evaluate their season and plan for the future, keeping Thompson on the team is a top priority for Curry, Green, and Kerr.
