Katie Price has broken her silence as ex-husband Peter Andre announced the birth of his third child with wife Emily on Wednesday.

The former glamour model, 45, took to Instagram to call out a ‘scumbag’ who had stolen a gate just as Peter, 51, revealed his happy baby news.

Following the announcement, Katie also filmed herself wearing a black quarter zip jumper to promote an app to her 2.6million followers.

Katie and ex Peter met on reality series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in early 2004. The couple got engaged that next May and tied the knot in September 2005 at Highclere Castle in Hampshire.

The pair welcomed two children Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, before splitting in 2009 and both children took to social media to share their thoughts about the new arrival.

Princess shared a picture of her father holding the baby, writing: ‘My gorgeous little sister.’

Junior also took to social media to share his joy about his new sibling and wrote: ‘Welcome to life my beautiful little sis.’

Peter wrote in this week’s new! magazine column, before his new daughter was born: Junior says he’s going to love this baby like it’s his own, so he’ll defintely be on babysitting duties.’

Junior had changed his mind about welcoming another sibling into the family.

Back in 2021, he told OK! magazine: ‘If Emily got pregnant now that means the baby would be born when I’m almost 17 and I don’t think the same strong bond would be there.

‘I’ll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see.’

He added: ‘I also have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us.’

But it seems he has definitely changed his mind since.

Peter went on to marry doctor Emily, 34, in 2015 and the couple are now parents to three children, Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven.

The couple welcomed their third child a daughter on April 2 and shared the first snaps of their bundle of joy when she was ‘just minutes old’.

In their post alongside two adorable pictures of their daughter they asked fans for help with picking a name.

He captioned an Instagram post, which showed Emily breastfeeding their daughter and one of him wearing a scrub hat holding his daughter: ‘Just minutes old……We feel so overwhelmed right now. So happy to welcome our beautiful girl to the family.

‘Mum and daughter are doing amazing. Born Tuesday 2nd April 2024, 7lb 3oz and thankfully very healthy.

‘Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier.

‘Only thing is…. She has no name yet. Help!

‘Thanks to all the doctors, midwives and staff at Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton. You were incredible. And Emily’s parents, whom I adore. You have both been incredible.

‘I’m so happy. Just off to hold her. Thanks everyone for reading.’

The couple’s famous pals rushed to congratulate them in the comments section as they shared their well wishes following the birth.

Christine McGuinness wrote: ‘Congratulations’, while Safiyya Vorajee typed: ‘Congratulations such a beautiful addition to a wholesome family x x’

‘Congrats Peter and Emily’, commented TOWIE star Amy Childs.

Katie herself has said she would like to have another baby.

Talking to her sister Sophie on their podcast recently Katie said that she loves being a mother and said there is nothing she doesn’t like about having a newborn.

Katie, who is in a new relationship with MAFS star JJ Slater said: ‘I’m not done yet’  and added: ‘You know when you are done.’
