Ever since being drafted first overall in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark has received a massive spotlight and huge expectations from her new Indianapolis fanbase.
This is nothing new to her though, as she received the same spotlight and expectations from Iowa Hawkeye fans and basketball fans across the nation during her college career.
After selling out her first WNBA preseason game, which was on the road in Dallas against the Wings, Clark has huge expectations for the crowd in her upcoming Fever home debut against the Atlanta Dream at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
She spoke about it with the Fever media team and predicted the fan’s engagement.
