While the craze around basketball is exploding in France, the Olympic tournament which will be played there this summer is already unleashing the crowds.

And not necessarily in a good way, since several French fans have expressed their dissatisfaction in recent hours.

France may not be considered a sporting country by many, but the Olympic Games it will organize this summer will still represent a major popular event.

Regardless of the discipline, there should be something for every fan, including basketball fans.

The Blues will thus advance among the favorites of the competition, they who will be keen to bounce back after their failed World Cup.

The FFBB’s pricing policy frustrates French fans

Before facing Germany, Japan and another still unknown opponent in the group stage, the French team will be able to ramp up on their territory.

Five of its six preparation matches will take place in France, including two in Orléans against Canada and Australia.

The ticket office for these shocks has just opened, and suffice to say that it did not necessarily delight those who accessed it:

The price list proposed by the FFBB thus reveals prices which vary between €60… and €700 for a place in the boxes.

It should be noted, however, that these tickets will not only give access to France-Canada or France-Australia, but also to another friendly match contested by the two foreign selections.

That said, Internet users have not hidden their anger at these costs, which are far too expensive for them:

Already upset after discovering the ticket prices for the Olympic tournament matches, French basketball fans were hoping for more accessible offers for the preparation matches.

The federation apparently did not give them satisfaction.
